Our Core Promise: DocFusion processes all your files entirely on your device. We do not upload, analyse, or sell any of your document content. Your files never leave your phone unless you explicitly share them yourself.
DocFusion itself does not collect any personal information. We do not require an account and we do not store any data on our own servers. However, the app uses third-party services (detailed in Section 5) that may collect certain non-personal information such as device identifiers and ad interaction data. Please refer to their respective privacy policies for details.
All PDF processing — merging, splitting, compressing, rotating, signing, scanning, watermarking, and all other tools — happens entirely offline on your device. DocFusion requests storage permissions solely to read files you explicitly choose and to save output files to the location you select. We never scan, index, or access files beyond what you directly open in the app. Your files are never uploaded to any server at any point during processing.
The Scan to PDF feature may request camera access. Camera data is used only to capture the image you take in that moment. It is never stored outside the app or transmitted to any server.
DocFusion stores a small preferences file on your device (e.g. your save-location preference and premium subscription status). This file contains no personal information and never leaves your device.
DocFusion uses the following third-party services. Free users will see ads; premium subscribers are ad-free.
Google AdMob DocFusion displays ads via Google AdMob for free users. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and ad interaction data to serve personalised or contextual ads. This data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy You can opt out of personalised ads via your device settings: Android → Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalisation".
Google Play Billing If you purchase a DocFusion Premium subscription, payment is processed entirely by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Google's billing privacy policy applies: Google Payments Privacy Notice
DocFusion offers an optional yearly subscription (DocFusion Premium) that removes all ads and unlocks all tools. Subscriptions are managed and billed by Google Play. You can cancel at any time through your Google Play account. Premium status is cached locally on your device. We do not store subscription records on our own servers.
DocFusion is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a third-party service integrated in the app, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
If we update this policy, the revised version will be published here with an updated "Last Updated" date, and the app will reflect the change. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
