Privacy Policy — Noor Dialer

Noor Dialer (“the App”, package com.theandroidgeek) is an Islamic phone dialer for Android, developed by TheAndroidGeek (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data the App uses and how it is handled. By using the App you agree to this policy.

Summary

Noor Dialer is privacy-first. Your contacts, call log and call activity are processed on your device only. We do not run our own servers that store your personal data, and we do not sell your data to anyone.

Information the App accesses

• Contacts — read and (when you choose) edit/create contacts so the dialer can show names, photos and manage your contacts. Processed locally on the device.
• Call logs & phone state — read/manage your call history to show recents, missed calls and act as your phone dialer (default phone handler). Processed locally on the device.
• Phone / Telecom — place, answer and manage calls as your default dialer.
• Approximate / precise location — used only to calculate accurate Islamic prayer times for your area. Location is used on-device and is not stored on our servers. If permission is denied, a default city is used.
• Internet & device identifiers — used to load prayer-time / Islamic content from public APIs and to show ads (see “Advertising”).

Advertising

The free version of the App shows ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use device identifiers and ad-interaction data to serve and measure ads, as described in Google’s Privacy Policy. For users in regions that require it (e.g. EEA/UK), the App shows a consent (UMP) request before serving personalised ads. Purchasing Noor Premium removes all ads.

Purchases

In-app purchases (Noor Premium subscription) are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment details.

Data sharing & storage

We do not sell your personal data. Contacts, call logs and location are not uploaded to our servers. Limited data is shared only with the service providers needed to run the App: Google AdMob (ads) and Google Play Billing (purchases). Prayer-time requests are sent to public Islamic content APIs using your coordinates to return correct timings.

Permissions

The App requests only the permissions required to function as a dialer (calls, call log, contacts, phone state, notifications) and for prayer times (location). You can revoke permissions any time in your device Settings; some features will then be limited.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Your choices

• Revoke any permission in Android Settings.
• Disable personalised ads via your device ad settings, or remove ads with Noor Premium.
• Uninstall the App to remove all locally-stored app data.

Changes

We may update this policy; changes are posted on this page with a new date.
